Firefighters recognize for a CPR save
Tue. Feb 14th 2017

On Tuesday evening Woodbury City Council took time out of their meeting to acknowledge the efforts of a few members of the Fire Department in  their assistance along with Gloucester County EMS on January 19th 2017; in helping to resuscitate an individual through the use of CPR and stabilizing the victim until they were able to be transported to the hospital for further advanced cardiac care. Fire Departments all across the Country perform life-saving duties on daily occurrences, that may or may not be fire related. It is important to understand that while fires may not occur as often as the public may think, the services of the Fire Department will always be needed and their tasks are constantly evolving. Woodbury Fire Department would like to congratulate members: Brent Stanley, Josh Gartner and Randy Ballinger for their services provided.
