Engine with a CPR Save
Thu. Jan 19th 2017

Engine, Gloucester Co Ems, and Medics were dispatched to Lafayette Avenue for a Cardiac Arrest. Engine 511 responded immediately (Brent Stanley, Joshua Gartner, Randy Ballinger), once on location the three guys took over the CPR Progress as the medics were giving appropriate medications needed. Members combined did CPR for about 15 minutes and were able to obtain a pulse back from the patient. The crew then assisted on the immediate packaging and removal of the patient. The patient was transferred to Inspira and still had a pulse when transferred to the care of the hospital.
